From the Top

The leaves are turning their fall colors, the air is cooling down, It is time for us to reflect on all the wonderful treasures we uncovered this past summer. All the people we have talked to, the cemeteries we have visited and the ancestors we have uncovered in our research.

This summer I was lucky enough to be able to get to Salt Lake City. For the genealogist, this is like a trek to Mecca. The library and facilities there are second to none. I was able to talk to many other genealogists and extend my research. We also got some valuable tips on running the genealogy forum from the Federation of genealogical societies that were meeting there.

Every year there are several great gatherings such as this one and I hope we can see you all at one in the future.
