Special Huguenot Talks in France SIG

 

A special series of talks on the Huguenots (French Protestants, Walloons) will be presented to the France Special Interest Group over the next few months. The talks, of about 10 minutes duration, will be at 9 PM (Eastern) on the Thursdays indicated below. The talks will be early in the chats. The short length of the talks leaves time for questions and other regular activities of the chat on ancestors from France.

Topics and Tentative Schedule

While most of the talks will be by Host GFS Chuck, some talks may be by other Genealogy Forum staff and members.

Thurs., Oct. 5 -- Who Were the Huguenots

Thurs., Oct. 19 -- Research Resources in France

Thurs., Nov. 7 -- To Where Did the Huguenots Flee

Thurs., Nov. 16 -- Other Huguenot and Walloon Resources

Thurs., Nov. 30 -- Huguenot Settlements in England

Thurs., Dec. 14 -- They Came to New England and the Middle Colonies

Thurs., Dec. 28 -- Settlers in Mankintowne and Other Virginia Towns

Thurs., Jan. 11 -- Early Huguenots in the Carolinas

Thurs., Jan. 25 -- Canada's Huguenots
