GFL George announces HOST GFS Chuck as Marketing Manager.

The mission of this role includes developing and implementing a Genealogy Forum marketing plan To market the multitude of GF services and related activities to the maximum possible genealogy audiences and the general public. To maintain and retain current users and to increase the numbers of new users, including advertisers.

Chuck continues his Chief of Staff duties.

• GenealogyForum.Com site update:
• Surname Message Board up to 'U' have been built & will be uploaded soon.
• Even more GEDCOMs have been moved over.
• Host GFS Carol has agreed to be the Graphics Coordinator for the www.
• Six new applicants have been approved for Orientation.
• FGS Conference in Salt Lake will start in 2 weeks.

In addition to handing out the Forum Mouse Pads at the conference our booth will also have Chinese Fortune cookies with a Forum message and Padded note paper with a Forum Message on each sheet.

On the Forum's main AOL page, the "Files" button name has been changed to "Libraries" to reflect the many resources available in this area of the Forum.
