New Jersey Historical Society Gets 1930 Census

Submitted by: HOST GFS Grace@aol.com

For those researchers interested, The New Jersey Historical Society purchased and received copies of the complete 1930 census for the Garden State earlier this week. We also have on order the published microfilm catalog to the census, along with the film copy of the descriptions of the census enumeration districts for 1830-1890, 1910-1950 (Microfilm #T1224), and the 1930 census of Merchant Seamen from NJ (Microfilm #M1932) from the National Archives as well. We should receive those items soon.

I'll will try and post to this list new collections the library obtains as we acquire them in order to keep everyone informed.
