I
can not tell you how grateful
that I am having made contact
with Floyd County Historical
Museum. I received information,
which will lead further into my
research for my family. Thank you
for your bulletin board. M. A.

I
received a message saying that
there was a reply to my message
looking for the Henry or Smith
family (no relation) from
Wettlaufer/Smith letter that I
had replied to and I can't
remember where I sent the message
from and have been unable to
retrieve the message that is
waiting for
me..........somewhere? HELP.

I
am trying to locate my uncle, who
is my only real blood family.
Both my grandparents on my
mother's side have passed. My
uncle was not my grandfather's
son. My uncle was born before my
grandfather met my grandmother. I
do have some relatives in
Shreveport. I have not kept up
with them, as they are somewhat
distant and I do not have the
resources to visit. I actually do
not know if I am contacting the
correct agency, but I am very
wanting to meet my uncle. He was
born 10 years before my mother.
She was attending college and in
love with a so called man named
-Connie-, he claimed to love her,
too. After the news he dumped her
and her family disowned her. My
name: Leslie McMahon, 9494
Jennings Road, Eden, NY 14057. If
at all possible, please help me.
Thank you. Edineden@aol.com
