The
Forum mailing list has been
activated though there won't be
any postings for a week or so ...
need a few subscribers first :)
You can subscribe by sending
"subscribe" (without the quotes)
as the only text in the body of a
message to:
GOLDEN-GATE-L-request@rootsweb.com
The
list is now open to subscriptions
from anyone, so pass the word to
your friends and other visitors
to the Forum. Additional
advertising could include mention
in Terry's message to newcomers
to the Forum, Beginners packets,
etc. I will also post something
on the Chat Promo message board.
The purpose of the list, as
stated in the Welcome Message, is
as follows:
"The
GOLDEN-GATE mailing list is a
read-only list for the
promulgation of information
related to the Golden Gate
Genealogy Forum including the
monthly newsletter, upcoming
events, significant changes in
the web site, and other
announcements of general
interest. It is expected that the
list will be very low
volume."
