I have been successful in bringing up info on the name Quackenboss, BUT how do I contact the "author" otherwise where do I find the e-mail address of such persons so that I can write to them.... Thank you for your answer. AMFesler@AOL.com

A: It depends on where you found your information. If you found a file on AOL in the Genealogy Forum and downloaded it the address would be provided at the top of the page that you are downloading. If you found it on the web in an inquiry the address should be at the beginning of the persons question.

Need assistance in finding this gentleman and or his family. His name is Gilbert Stephan/Stephen. He was born in or approx. 1923. He was in the US Army 58th Quartermaster and stationed in Belgium. He is of African-American descent. When in Belgium he assisted a family thru the very rough times and they wish to thank he and or his survivors. They do not know much more of this gentleman but did send a picture and their home address. If anyone can help in this, please contact me. My father-in-law was contacted by this Belgium family and he asked me to assist.

Can anyone help?? I am sending this to each county that has this surname in the phonebook in hopes of someone recognizing the name. Thanks.

Thanks for allowing me to list. I want to find my aunt, Ruth Linville Preston's mother. She was married to my grandfather Christophor Columbus Linville. Her name was Cora Sue Powell Linville. She would have lived in Covington, Ky. I think she died there. My aunt is 92 yrs old and never knew where her mother was buried. She said she was born in Huntington, WV hospital she thinks. I'm working on our family tree. I know my grandfather was a RR engineer and he traveled to Boone Co., WV he was born in Boone Co., WV. My dad is Stonewall Jackson Linville he is the son of Chris' second wife.

Is it still available? If so, how does an AOL member access it? I have an AOL friend helping me and he couldn't find it easily.
