Pat On The Back

In the early days of the Golden Gate Genealogy Forum and AOL, the government and colleges mostly used the Internet.  The average person, and that included most online genealogists, used bulletin boards (BBS).  There were several very good ones around.  One BBS stood out as the best around and everyone went to it. That board was run in part by John Fuller.  He was one of the important pioneers of online Genealogy.

We have been very lucky that this great person in the online community has given some of his valuable time to come out and share with us his knowledge in the Thursday night chats in the Family Tree House.  John has been much more than just a chat leader, he has helped many people understand the online environment and   how to best use it to research your family Genealogy.  For all his hard work over so many years I am proud to bestow the coveted Pat on the Back award this month to Host GFS JohnF.
