I am searching the BEAN surname. Other prominent surnames in my files are HART and WHITMAN. There are others, but these are the three dominant surnames. All these people are from Venango, Crawford, and other counties close by in northwestern PA. I have come to a brick wall with the BEAN nameat a fellow named Abraham BEAN b.1760 in Lebanon Co. PA. He moved to Venango Co. in 1800 with his family - wife Emily - children Mary "A", Mary "M", Samuel, and Henry. Know quite a bit about all children except Henry - don't know a single thing about him.
