- 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 5th Army Corps May 1862 - Jun 1863.
- Three years' men detached 13 May 1863.
- Regiment mustered out on 2 Jun 1863.
- Assigned to a Battalion of New York Volunteers and on 23 Jun 1863, transferred to 146th New York Infantry Regiment. These later became the 17th Veteran Infantry Regiment mustered in between 13 Jun 1863 to 17 Oct 1863, eventually mustering out 13 Jul 1865.
