Funeral Notice of Efford Otto Neptune

Efford Otto Neptune, 74. of 310 N. Wilson died yesterday at Neosho Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer.

Born Jan. 27, 1894, at Columbus, Ind., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danford Neptune. He married Mary M. Kuhn at Concordia Nov. 24, 1926, and farmed southwest of Concordia for many years. They moved to Chanute five years ago.

Neptune was a member of the American Legion, VFW, World War I Barracks, and the Methodist Church Morgan Chapel at Ames. He was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Kimble, 704 S. Allen, a son, Harold Neptune, [incorrect, was Marvin Alden Neptune], Wichita, and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Johnson Chapel. The Rev. William J. Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
